the theme of the poem"mirror" is very deep and philosophical. it says that one must be always truthful without any preconceptions like the mirror. one should be objective and unbiased .
it also tells us that nothing in our lives remain constant and one must understand and accept these changes that are inevitable .one must not create an illusion that youth and beauty last forever.he should accept the laws of nature. 
the poet finally conveys that the key to happiness is to be like the mirror-exact and truthful and also accept even bitter realities of life!!

the poem deals with our sense of anxiety when we start showing signs of agening, everyone wishes top stay youthful and beautiful. this seems to b aginst the law of nature that this is not everytime possible. so therefore this poem mirror teaches us to develop our inner strength and face all stages wheather good or bad gracefully.
