In aniline -NH2 is attached to the benzene ring so, The lone pair on the Nitrogen will undergo resonance with the pi electron cloud of the Benzene ring. As a result there is less availability of the electrons on Nitrogen. Because of this Aniline not easily donate its electrons to the electron deficient species.

But in case of ethylamine -NH2 group is attached to Ethyl group which has +I effect which will cause the availability of the more electrons on the Nitrogen of atom as a result it can easily donate its electrons to the any electron deficient species.

We all know that More basic means more electron donating power. That's why Aniline is less Basic than Ethylamine.
