Answer:

1) State: Ice is solid, water is liquid and vapours are gaseous.

2) Process: Water freezes to form Ice, Ice melts to form water, water vaporises to form vapours and vapours condense to form water.

3) Temperature: Ice exists at 0° or below temperatures. Water exists at 0° to 100°. Vapours exist at 100° or above temperatures.

Note: these temperatures are in Celsius

Answer:

ice:-

1. its particles are closely packed

2. we cannot pass hand in between them

3. if we add heat to it .it will start melting

4. can diffuse in liquids

5.its shape is definite

6. its boundaries are fixed

7. it cannot be compressed

water:-

1.its particles are less loosely packed

2.we can move hand in it.

3.if we add heat to it. it will evaporate

4.diffusion is higher then liquids

5.its shape is not definite it takes the shape of container

6.its boundaries are not fixed

7. it cannot be compressed

gas:-

1.its particles are loosely packed

2.we can easily move our hands in it

3.if we add heat to it nothing take place

4.highly diffusible as particles move randomly at high speed

5.they donot have definite shape

6.its boundaries are not fixed

7.it is highly compressible
