Give Reason:
1.A rolling ball stops after moving some distance
2.What kind of friction comes into play:
(a) When a block of wood kept on table moves slowly.
(b) When a block of wood kept on table just tends to move (or slip)

1) When a ball is rolled frictional force becomes active and begins opposing the movement or motion of the ball thus resulting in a decreased velocity. With velocity gradually becoming minimal, the ball stops after rolling for a distance.
