The earthquakes mainly happen in the tectonic border areas where the plates collapse with each other to create the earthquake.

And the whole Himalayan mountain range is situated upon the tectonic plate boundary area.The Himalayan mountain range was actually formed by the activities of the Asian tectonic plates.

That's why the whole Himalayan mountain range is more vulnerable to the earthquakes and the countries in this region face the earthquakes as a regular natural hazard.
