Vinegar is Acetic Acid and baking soda is Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate. Both these chemicals are are very commonly found in kitchens. When baking soda is added to vinegar there is a neutralization reaction that occurs and we hear the hissing sound along with that we see some white vapours coming out.
