A map is more accurate than globe because map can be folded.,or done something else to take It anywhere

1) You can fold a map up and put it in your pocket.
2) You can get maps of just certain countries, smaller regions within them, or individual towns and cities. Globes are (by their nature) always of the whole world. This allows maps to show more detail — potentially street level detail.
