our eyes has two thing rods and cons . rods control dark sight and cons control they are bit slow in activating therefore this happens

because for some time his eyes is in the front of sunlight rays so in there eyes the retina has performed in shiny places thus in room there is not at all shine so he felt dark in a room for a short while
