Hey dude here is ur desired answer
when copper vessels are kept in open they react with oxygen to form copper oxide and copper oxide reacts with carbon further to form copper carbonate . copper carbonate forms a green layer on vessels that is poisonous. so lemon or vinegar or scrubber is applied on vessels and the layer is removed .
