give reason:- all vertebrates are chordates but all chordates r not vertebrates...... please answer fast......it's really urgent friends...

Phylum chodrata --
In vertebrates, the notochord is present. As it is present in embryos, it gets replaced by vertebral column in adults.
As a result, vertebrates are different as they have vertebral column.
Hence, all vertebrates are chordrates but all chordrates are not vertebrates.
