:Copper is a metal where as sulphur is a non - metal .Why???

Copper is a metal because it is ductile Nd malleable but sulphur is a non metal becauuse it is non ductile Nd non malleable. it can be beaten into sheets( malleability) , can​ be drawn into wires(ductility).it is a good conductor of electricity. it can not be beaten into sheets and can not be drawn into wires
