There is a delay in decision making process in a democracy because this would lead to a beneficial,  better and fair result for the both, the people and the government. This gives the country a beneficial result.

Explanation: Democracy is all about people who lived in the democratic nation. So, if a government attempt to make the decision too quickly with no time or some time then it might lead to  some fault in their decision which will adversely or simply affect the life of those innocent citizen. This may lead to a protest against government i.e, the  ruling party. and will affect the government by creating some loss in markets by the public.On the other-hand, if the government hold some time for making a better and fair decision with 100% accuracy, then it might stop the losses of government and doesn't affect the lives of people.

Therefore, delaying in decision making process in a democracy is essential for a better, fair and beneficial result.
