Answer:

a. Countries, towns and cities located around the equator experience hot weather throughout the year. It is because the sun remains almost directly overhead everyday. Countries that are further North or South of the equator experience a change in seasons, when hot weather follows cold weather.

b. The Earth is known as a unique planet as life exists on it. The Earth has an atmosphere which is made up of gases like oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide. While the Ozone layer prevents the harmful rays of the Sun from entering into the Earth, carbon dioxide traps the Sun's heat, keeping the planet warm

c.Rotation of the Earth causes night and day to alternate. Since we learned that the Earth's axis is tilted and hence the equator is not facing the Sun directly, different places on Earth would experience unequal length of days and nights—not exactly 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night all the time.

hope it helps :)
