a.Echidna and platypus are the exceptions in group mammalia. They possess all the features such as presence of various types of glands such as oil glands , mammary glands and sweat glands. The have hair on their body. Females possess mammary gland to feed their young ones for nourishment.
b. Forelimbs of the birds are modified because birds(aves) have adapted themselves to fly . The need of fly is the shortage of their kind of food on land.
c. Porifera are also known as sponges because they have holes on their body.
