Paper and fire

Explanation:

Paper by itself catches fire easily whereas a piece of paper wrapped around an aluminium pipe does not. A single sheet of paper will catch fire very quickly because the ignition temperature required for the paper is very less. When the paper is wrapped around an aluminium pipe, the aluminium pipe is a good conductor of heat. So it absorbs the heat quickly and dissipates it. So the ignition temperature required for the paper to burn is not attained that easily.
