One part blows towards the Equatorial Low Pressure Belt. The other part blows towards the Circum- Polar Low Pressure Belt. This zone is marked by ascent of warm Sub-Tropical air over cold polar air blowing from poles. Due to earth's rotation, the winds surrounding the Polar region blow towards the Equator

Answer:

The distribution of the world pressure belts is governed by the rotational motion of the earth on its axis.

Explanation:

  • This belt is found between the latitudes of 60 to 70 degrees in both the hemispheres. In the subtropical zones, the low-pressure belts develop due to the descending air develops into two parts as one part moves forwards as the equatorial low and the other toward is known as the circum pacific polar low.
  • This zone marks the ascending of the warm subtropical air that blows towards the poles. Due to the rotation of the earth, the winds surround the polar region blows towards the equator zones. And this region is characterized by violent storms in the winter.
