  1. Gases have high kinetic energy because of presence of large inter-particle spaces between the particles and very weak attractive forces. Hence they can move around freely.
  2. Napthalene balls change directly into vapors due to the process of sublimation. Sublimation is the process by which a sublime solid changes directly into vapors without changing into the liquid statem
  3. Inter-molecular forces decreases on heating because as we heat a substance, then the kinetic energy of the particles increases, resulting in the increase in the inter-particle spaces. An increase in the inter-particle spaces weakens the attractive forces because the particles move away from each other.
