Give reason , pollution increases as urbanisation increases

There are many reasons for pollution. One of them is urbanisation. urbanisation means development of urban cities. In urbans most of factories ate set up.Most of urban cities lies near rivers. The chemicals ejected from factories are discharged into river without treating them.This cause water pollution. The residue of urban are also thrown in rivers so we can say that as urbanisation increases pollution also increases.
