The population growth has to be brought under control because as the population will increase more land will be needed to accomodate them, more jobs will be needed and more food will be needed to fed the large population. So if the population is small less land will be needed to accomodate them and the left land could be used for building indrustries and forests. So most number of people will be having jobs this can help in progressing the economy of the country and less food will be needed to fed the population. So with less population we can fight against hunger,poverty,health and many other things.
