most of the component of plasa membrane is made of lipid. so substances which are lipid soluble that can passes through plasma membran faster and easily. But protiens are hydrophilic or water soluble(lipid insoluble). So that cannot pass through plasma membrane without the help of specialized saturated protien. (fasilleted diffusion).
