hey
Notice that the sharp knife has a very small area of contact with the surface, while the dull knife has a much larger area of contact. If both knives are pushed down with the same force, the sharp knifewill exert a much greater pressure on the surface than the dull knife - and pressure cuts.

Hello friend the answer is because the blunt knife gets greater area than sharp knife then we know that greater area has less pressure so we gave a problem to cut but when we cut it from sharp knife the area is less so pressure becomes greater so it easily cut off the vegetables
