Tamil nadu recieves rainfall in winter season because of the western ghats. The western ghats blocks the clouds formed in the arabic ocean from entering Tamil nadu and it rains in Kerala. Tamil nadu recieves rainfall in winter is mainly because of northeas trade winds which makes the clouds formed to rain in Tamil nadu..
