HEY!!

⚫A sponge has minute pores in which air is trapped, when we press it, the air is expelled out and we are able to compress it.

⚫Liquids are more compressible because interparticular spaces between their molecules is much more than solids.

⚫A rubber band changes shape under force and regains the same shape when the force is removed. If excessive force is applied it breaks.

Hey buddy ☺

Here we go...

1) Yes, I agree.. Sponge is a solid.. but it has pores NY dear.. lots of pore in which air resides
and helps it to be compressed

2)Dear, see the gap between atoms of solid is like a no gap ...and in liquids the gap among the atom group is more comparable to solid..

So liquid is more compressible as compared to solid

3)Rubber band has a special property that is called "Elasticity "

So being a solid it changes shape

Hope it's helpful for you dear friend ♥
