the colour of copper sulphate solution changed to light green when iron filings are added because of displacement reaction
and iron is more reactive metal than copper.

coz displacement reaction takes place here....

Fe(iron) is more reactive thn Cu....so it displaces Cu frm CuSO4 (CPR sulphte)...
