$\mathfrak{\huge{\red{\underline{\underline{Answer 1:-}}}}}$ Dalhousie introduced a new system of internal communication in India. He was the father of Indian Railways. Dalhousies' famous Railway Minute of 1853 convinced the home authorities of the need of the railways and laid down the main lines of their development.

$\mathfrak{\huge{\red{\underline{\underline{Answer 2:-}}}}}$ Thereafter 26th of January was decreed a national holiday and was recognised as the Republic Day of India. The Constitution gave the citizens of India the power to choose their own government and paved the way for democracy.
