1st Answer is : It is true that life cannot exist on earth in the absence of photosynthesis because plants make there own food by the process of photosynthesis by using carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight. While making there food the plants release oxygen as a waste product which we human beings use to breathe so yes if photosynthesis won't occur life will not exist

2nd answer: Tigers , leopards,lions and frogs do not eat plants yet they cannot survive without plants and the reason is because plants are the starting part of the food chain. This whole process is known as a food chain. Food chains starts from the plants making there own food with grasshoppers eating those plants the grasshopper being eaten by lizards the lizards being eaten by the frog and then it continues with man being the last consumer (plants are always the starting part of the food chain)
