Answer:

1) there are two reasons for this one

first;-  there are cold winds from Atlantic oceans and oceans besides he deserts but they do not bring any moisture as only influence winds

second: as their is less moisture in the wind their are less factors affecting the flow of wind and as the trees are short or very few the wind flows faster

2)

Explanation:

the eroding and transporting power is max in the upper course as it has lot of potential energy stored which gets converted into kinetic energy once at falls from a height hence waterfalls are powerful

Answer:

for 1st : The action of wind is more prominent in deserts because there is little vegetation cover and the soil cover is loose. As such, sediments get easily carried and deposited by winds.

for 2nd :In the upper course of a river gradients are steep and river channels are narrow. Vertical erosion is greatest in the upper course of a river. ... As the river or stream wears away the weak rocks, they travel across the surface of stronger rocks. These more resistant rocks become the capstones to waterfalls.

for 3rd : The volume of water in a river is at its greatest in the lower course. This is due to the contribution of water from tributaries. The river channel is deep and wide and the land around the river is flat. ... Deltas are formed when a river deposits material faster than the sea can erode it.
