a) Ingestion of food is difficult without teeth because swallowing unchewed food makes it harder for the food to travel through the digestive track. Also teeth break down the food into simpler substances to so that the first proccess of digestion gets finished quiker.
b) If we chew rice, or bread for a few minutes, it starts tasting sweet because these food are rich in carbohydrates. our saliva breaks down these complex carbohydrates into simpler substances so that we can digest it. These carbohydrates are then converted into simple sugar particles which gives a sweet taste in out mouth.
c) Bacterias are present in caecum of ruminants because it helps in the digestion of a nutrient called cellulose which is contained by plants.
