the reason for the introduction of modern education in India by British Are that the Indian traditional system of education was lack of official education and development of students so British government has introduced the modern education system.

The reason for the introduction of modern education in india by british was another strand of opinion which supported western educations on the ground that this would enable indians to play an important role in their country's administration. Christian missionaries believed that Western education would help in spreading Christianity.
