(i) As Chennai is near to sea it changes its air with the air of sea so convection occurs and heat transfer takes place between city air and sea air so the temperature of Chennai remains moderate. But for Delhi there is no sea so its temperature remains maintained.

(ii) the sun is bright and the sky is clear.
