Give reasons: (i) iron is used in constructing bridges and houses. (ii) aluminium is used for making electrical wires. (iii) sulphur is counted as non-metal.

(1) Iron is used for constructing bridges and houses because its extremely strong and relatively cheap.

(2) Aluminium is used for constructing electrical wires because it is good conductor of electricity.

(3) Sulfur is conted as non metal because it is consistent with 3 physical properties listed for non metals. It is a poor conductor of heat and electricity.
