Give reasons -it takes longer time to dry wet clothes in human weather.

As rate of evaporation is inversely proportional to the increase in humidity.
so it takes long time to dry.

It is because when air is humid, it contains larger amount of water vapour. Our wet clothes also contain water vapour. When these water droplets evaporate, it occupies the blank space present in air. But in humid weather, there are less free space present in them. So, it takes more time to dry.
