the bulk of rain fall in India is received during the four months of rainy season, i.e june, July , August, September.This period of south west monsoon blowing from sea and land .these sea to land winds are rain giver,as these moisture laden winds are onshore winds. these tropical cyclones add to amount to rainfall easterly tropical jet streams to help in rain during this period .
