hey there!!
here is your answer

The way desert coolers works on dry and hot air in summer , rain also do the same to air.

Air can hold a specific amount water in form of vapours( gas) at a particular temperature. So when its raining, it completly saturate the thrust of dry air, now air is completely satisfied. Temperature is in control for a short time but as it's summer, sun will shine again and here starts the problem. Your body trying to sweat which is nothing but loosing water to air , but air says “ no thank you, I am saturated already”. Your body says “ please take my water”, but air again says “ no way!”. Now your body is loosing it's temper “ you have to take my water or I will fight”. Air : - oh you better try that!!!?

Now starts the problem ,the moment you body try to put extra effort in sweating, that causes a feeling of discomfort.

Funny thing is this discomfort is also temporary , because sun is heating the air too and at higher temperature air can hold more moisture now air won't deny any drink opportunity.

hope it helps!!

After rains during the hot season the heat is unbearable because of Humidity.
Humidity in air moisten the environment due to which the water vapours increases suddenly causing more sweating.
Therefore, Humidity is responsible for unbearableness of heat after rains.
