Give reasons :- Why solids have a fixed shape and definite volume?​

Solids have a fixed shape and a fixed size. The particles are very close together and held in place by strong forces (bonds). Their particles cannot move around, but they do vibrate. Because the particles cannot move around, a solid has a fixed shape.

A liquid has a definite volume. A liquid will always take up the same amount of space and take the shape of its container. Give an easy to understand example, such as juice, milk or the water in a pool.
