Hybrids are artifitially produced most of the times by selecting parents with superior characterstics. These when crossed give rise to a progeny which has combination of these characterstics from both the parents making them superior.

A hybrid is an offspring emerges from combining the characteristics of two organisms of varying breeds, species, species or genera through sexual generation. Hybrids are not always intermediate within their parents but can exhibit hybrid vigor which is of a superior breed. Hybrids are artificially composed most of the time by choosing parents with superior features. When these genes are traversed it gives rise to higher offspring which have an aggregate of these parents characteristics of both the parents making it superior.
