AshStyles: do u need the b one too?
AshStyles: Our eyes work by means of millions of receptor cells; when light falls on any one of them, our brain gets the message of it being turned "on" and thus millions of such signals, refreshed about 24 times a second, give us our vision. However, all of these receptors aren't the same.

We have two types of cells: Rods and Cones. The Rods sense the intensity (brightness/unit area) of incoming light, while the Cones sense the colour of the incoming light
AshStyles: the 2) one

Hi..

1. A simple microscope consists of a convex lens. Convex lens forms erect and magnified image of the object when the object is placed within the focal length. Hence, a simple microscope is used by watch repairers so that they can see the tiny parts clearly without straining the eyes.

2.The backs of our eyes, or retinas, are filled with light-sensitive cells called rods and cones. Rods help us see in dim light, and don’t perceive color. So one can sense light only in bright colors

3.The eye lens is composed of a fibrous, jelly-like material. To see closure and distant object, Its focal length can me changed to certain extent by contraction and relaxation of ciliary muscles. The ability of the eye lens to adjust its focal length by contracting and relaxing its ciliary muscles is called accommodation. To see closer object, ciliary muscles, must decrease the focal length of eye lens. However, the focal length of the eye lens cannot be decreased below a certain minimum limit. To see an object comfortably and distinctly, the distance of object should be at least 25 cm from the eyes. Due to this, a normal eye is not able to see clearly the objects placed closer than 25 cm.

Hope this helps u!!
