A flower is the reproductive organ of the plant. Calyx, corolla, androecium and gynoecium are the four whorls arranged from outer to inner region of the flower. Two outermost whorls are called as accessory whorls and two inner whorls are called as essential whorls.
*Calyx is the outermost floral whorl consisting of green leaf-like  structures, the sepals, which protect the delicate inner parts of the flower.
*Corolla is the second whorl consisting of attractive structures called as petals. Petals are also equal in nuber with the petals.
*Androecium is the male reproductive part of the flower which is an essential whorl of the flower made up of stamens.
*Gynoecium is the female reproductive part of the flower made up of pistil.
