Sodium gives yellow colour in flame test.

The color of the flame depends on the defined line emission spectrum. And depending on that, the different elements give out different colors of flame during the flame test.
Lithium gives off red color during the flame test whereas sodium gives off yellow color during the same test.
Other elements are known to give out blue or green flame as well
