give scientific reason on calcium floats on water during the reaction with water

the reason is that when calcium reacts with water it releases H2 and this H2 gets attached at the bottom of the calcium and there fore the calcium floats on water when it reacts with water

Ca + 2H2O ---> Ca(OH)2 + H2
