Explanation:
SORRY I DONT KNOW (A)
I KNOW (B)
WHEN SLAKED LIME IS FORMED BY CAO AND WATER REACTION WHEN REACT WITH ATMOSPHERIC CARBON DIOXIDE GIVES US THE PRODUCT OF A SHINING WHITE
CALCIUM CARBONATE(CaCo3).THE DIFFERENT FORMS OF CALCIUM CARBONATE ARE MARBLE,CHALK ,LIMESTONE,CORALS ETC.
THE FOLLOWING REACTION IS:-
- (CaO+H20=Ca(OH)2+ENERGY
Ca(OH)2 +CO2=CaCO3.
HOPE IT HELPS......

a) During electrolysis of water, oxygen is liberated in the anode only as oxygen is negatively charged and anode is positive terminal. Since both are opposite charges, this leads to the attraction of O2 molecules.
b) CaO and H2O should not be made to react in plastic containers as it is a highly exothermic reaction. This can damage the container.
More:-
- Electrolysis can be used to separate Al and O2 from alumina as well as Na and Cl from NaCl. Same thing can be applied to H2O2.
- By providing CO2 to Ca(OH)2, we get CaCO3 (white ppt). But excess CO2 gives Ca(HCO3)2 (colourless).
[Alumina = Aluminum Oxide.]
