Significance of Cell Division:
- Cell division is the process in which parent cell is divided into daughter cells.
- It produce progeny.
- It involves in repairing of cells
Types of Cell division:

- Mitosis results in the production of daughter cells which contains the same number of the chromosomes as in their parent cell.
