When we stand in front of an mirror, the image we see is just like a person standing in front of us. His right will be your left and your left will be his right. But the image of your right hand will be still be in right and left hand will still be in left. But we perceive the left as right and right as left because both our hands and other body parts are exactly alike in the left and right part.(we have lateral symmetry).
