According to Köppen- Geiger climate classification there are 5 types of climate. Under those 5 types there are several other types / examples of climate .


1) Tropical climate -
- Rainforest
- Monsoon
- Savanna wet
- Savanna Dry

2) Arid climate -
- Steppe
- Desert

3) Continental climate -
- Dry summer
- Hot summer
-. Cold summer
- Dry winter
- Very cold winter

4) Temperate climate -
- Dry summer
- Dry winter
- Hot summer
- Cold summer

5) Polar climate -
- Tundra
- Ice caps

There are total 5 types of climate, they are listed below :-

1) Tropical Climate - Found in areas of monsoon, areas of rainfall. Mostly found in regions near equator.

2) Arid climate -  Found in desertic regions.

3) Polar climate - As the name suggest it is found in cool regions like polar caps. Arid zone.

4) Temperate Climate - Found in areas of temperate regions above tropical and below polar regions. 

5) Continental Climate - Very hot summers and Very cold winters. Mostly found in countries like North America.
