parallel beam: spotlight and search light..
convergent beam:When the rays of light coming from different directions meet at a point, then the collection of rays is called a convergent beam of light, foe example; if a parallel beam is made to pass through hand lens, it meets at a point, i.e., it converges at a point , rays that are coming out of a convex lens..
divergent beam: rays that are coming out of a common bulb, rays that are coming out of a concave mirror..
hope it helps..

Parallel beam of sunlight are made to incident on solar cooker consisting of concave mirror so that the rays converge at focus point. 3. The rays enetering in our eyes converge on the retina.
Example:
- Rays coming out from burning candle.
- Rays coming out from the car head light .
- Rays coming out from light bulb.
