Anti-diuretic Hormone stimulates the reabsorption of water in the blood. ADH does this by inserting aquaporins in the kidney tubules. These pores or channels transport the water back to the blood circulation due to which the urine output is decreased. In the absence of ADH, renals tubules are impermeable to water due to which more urine is formed.
