The diagonal of the rectangle is the hypotenuse of its sides.

Let the sides be x,y

The diagonal is 3x

 \large \implies{( {3x}^{2}) =  {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2} }

 \large \implies{9 {x}^{2}  =  {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2} }

 \large \implies{ {y}^{2}  =  {8x}^{2} }

 \large \implies{y =  \sqrt[2]{2x} }

 \large{the \: ratio \: of \: sides \: are \: x \:  \sqrt{2x}  = 1</em></strong><strong><em> \sqrt[2]{2}}

hope its help u

9x² = x² + y²

- y² = 8x²

⇒ y = √√2x

the ratio of sides are x √√2x = 1 <

hope its help u
