poet directly talks to wind.he says not to break shutters of Windows ¬ to scatter paper in his room &to throw down books from book shelves.

lines 5-7
he gesture towards mess in his room & tells wind is responsible for it.wind has thrown all books &torn the pages.he accuses wind of bringing rainfall.

lines 8-13
wind is mischief &he comes face to face with meek&mild to protect against his actions. he can break down doors, rafters or entire wooden houses.
poet says wind can tear down meek&mild.

poet stops speaking to wind. we cannot escape from his ill effects instead we should build our homes on a strong foundation.

poet says in some other ways his readers can save themselves from wind.we should be mentally &physically strong. if we do so wind will invite us to become a friend.

wind has both good &bad effects. it can blow out a weak&strengthen strong.
