a) Iron sulphide is not a magnetic substance and hence do not get attracted towards a magnet but the iron feelings being magnetic substance will get attracted towards a magnet.
b) From the above statement, we concluded that magnets attract only the magnetic materials towards them and a mixture of iron feelings and sulphur can be separated by magnetic separation method.
