One good example is of the principle of hydraulics(Pascal's law) used in a car ramp.The piston side has a small area of pipe with water,and lift side has a bigarea.Now,one can raise the lift carrying thousands of kilograms, by applying normal pressure on the piston.Because,the decreased area of piston side gathers an increased amount of pressure,which is transferred to the other side .

one of the good example of pressure is that a man sitting of a bed of nails did not hurt himself why this happen this happen because the pressure applied is not equal to the force as we know that

pressure is equal to force by area if the area if the surface of the area is more then we not hurt our self

if it is less then we can hurt ourselves by sitting on the bed of nails
